Bronx CD2 Affordable Housing Workshop

A workshop to further improve NYC residents’ understanding of affordable housing, area median income (AMI) levels, the application process, and current projects in the city, including PRC Fox Street. Attendees also enjoyed from light refreshments while having discussions about affordable housing, and resources for further consultation were provided, such as application information from HPD and financial resources from ARIVA.

 

Bushwick Affordable Housing Workshop

Camber was pleased to offer a workshop for Bushwick residents to learn about affordable housing and current projects in the city, including 1601 DeKalb Ave. Attendees learned how to search for affordable housing and how to prepare for the application process. A short overview of the NYC Housing Connect portal was covered, and resources for further information were also provided.

 

Housing Connect Workshops

Camber Property Group and PRCNY hosted two Housing Connect Workshops for the local community in Foxhurst, Bronx. The workshops introduced the project PRC Fox Street, and representatives from NYC HPD and HDC discussed the NYC affordable housing application process, while Nos Quedamos/We Stay and ARIVA provided additional resources and financial consulting.

Over 360 people attended the workshops, learned about the Housing Connect Lottery process, and enjoyed of light refreshments. This was a result of the collaboration between the hosts, Casita Maria Center for Arts and Education, and the Bronx Community Board 2 members and representatives, who were active participants throughout both events.

 

Stevenson Commons Back to School Day!

Camber Property Group was pleased to offer a day of fun games, snacks, and school supplies to get the Stevenson Commons community ready for the 2017 Fall school season. With the support and attendance of Senator Rubén Díaz Sr. and Assembly Member Luis R. Sepúlveda, not only were residents enjoying of the festivities, but so were the hard working staff of the commons.
